Overview

Real-Time Bidding (RTB) is a digital advertising buying process that allows advertisers to bid on ad inventory in real-time. An RTB tag can use either 2.4,2.5 or 2.6 version of the oRTB protocol.

RTB Specific Settings

  1. Auction Type: Method of auction in RTB campaigns.

  2. Version: OpenRTB protocol version.

  3. Interstitial: Indicator for interstitial ad format.

  4. Max Duration: Upper limit for ad duration.

  5. Min Duration: Minimum ad duration.

  6. Max Bitrate: Bitrate cap for ads.

  7. Linear: Indicates linear ad playback.

  8. Protocols: Supported ad serving protocols.

  9. Type: Type of ad in the RTB context.

  10. Playback Method: Ad playback method.

  11. Placement: Describes ad display location.

  12. Margin: Margin settings for RTB bidding.

  13. Max Time: Maximum bidder response time.

  14. Placement (PLCMT): Requirements or preferences for ad placement.

  15. Override Incoming CPM: Overrides the incoming CPM of an RTB request, can be either a fixed price or a % increase
