Tags

Overview

The "Tags" section of our ad server is essential for managing the details of ad tags. Organized into general settings, advanced settings, RTB specifics, targeting options, a section for Third Party Pixels, and supply chain settings, it aligns with the OpenRTB Protocol.

General Settings

  1. Tag Types:

    • RTB: For real-time bidding and dynamic auction-based ad serving.

    • Server Side Vast: Involves server-side vast requests

    • Vast Endpoint: Designated endpoint for VAST ad delivery.

    • Raw Vast: Direct VAST campaign, exclusive to Raw Vast type.

    • Prebid Server: Uses server-side Prebid for ad auctions.

    • Prebid JS: Employs Prebid.js for client-side header bidding.

    • Direct Link: Direct link to an ad resource, simplifying setup.

  2. Ad Types:

    • Video: For video format ads.

    • Banner: Traditional display banner ads.

    • Audio: Ads in audio format, for podcasts and music streaming.

  3. URL: Web address associated with the ad tag.

  4. Advertiser: Link to the advertiser's details. See more info on Advertisers section

  5. Bid Adapter: Selection of custom bid adapters as detailed in the bid adapter section.

  6. Ads Txt: Part of the Authorized Digital Sellers initiative.

Advanced Settings

  1. Impression Cap: Limits the number of ad impressions.

  2. Request Cap: Maximum ad requests allowed.

  3. Queries Per Second Cap: Rate limit for ad queries.

  4. Revenue Model: Specifies the type of revenue model the advertiser is engaged with. It can be either a 'Fixed Price' model where the payment terms are set in advance or a 'Revenue Share' model where the payment depends on the performance of the ads.

  5. Revenue Split: This field details the percentage or terms of revenue sharing between the advertiser and the platform, applicable in the case of a Revenue Share model.
